Anyone EVER encourage term a bad clutch fork? v6 6mt
Got a new clutch and flywheel installed 3 days after I bought my CM6 a year and a half ago because it wouldn't go into gear. Some weeks later the clutch started chirping like a cricket. Having only on Wed one automatic ever, I knew it was the throw out bearing. The chirping stops with minimal pedal pressure. Now it has progressed to the bearing sounding very angry...but it shifts smoothly still.
Dealer claimed it was the FORK. I call BS. Opinions?

Never had that issue on a Honda but anything is possible.
(although an "angry" bearing sound IS likely a bad bearing)
It damn sure better have. It was done at a Honda dealer 3 days after I bought the car when it wouldn't go into gear. I spent a few grand. My goal is a showroom restoration.
