I just bought a 1992 Honda Civic DX 4-door, but the previous owner had put pinstripes across the sides and vinyl decals on the door. I tried heating them up and peeling them by hand with no luck. Any advice? Thanks!

 

i would also like to know if someone had a good trick for removing these. i've been slowly chipping mine off with my fingernail trying not to damage the paint

 

get a pin strip remover wheel... look like a giant eraser that hooks to a drill

 

Get the 3m eraser wheel. Since your car is a bit old, the paint underneath might be darker so I suggest polishing the surface after removing the pinstripe.
