I just moved from a state that did not require a front license plate, and now I need to have one. Unfortunately, my front bumper has had the license plate holes filled with fiberglass and smoothed. Is there a known relocator kit available that can cleanly mount a front license plate to a bracket on the bottom of the bumper or off to one of the sides? I have seen pictures of EGs with the front plate in a different spot in the past but I have never investigated since I never needed to have a front plate.
I appreciate any help; I can't seem to find anything useful searching this forum or Google.

Yeah just google it, there's a bazillion options.. DIY, PasswordJDM, iJdmToy, etc..
...Sure, duct tape. And now, the rest of us are going to sit back and let you think about how you would go about bolting something to your bumper, without adding holes for said bolts to go through.
Not that I don't find what NAR said funny, but there might be way to mount a plate without putting holes in your bumper.
Most of the civics I've seen come with a black metal v shaped bracket that is used to secure the lower part of the plate to the car. You might be able to use it to attach the upper part of the plate to. I'm not sure how secure it would be, but better than duct tape and wouldn't require any holes in your bumper.
When I get a chance I'll take a pic of the part and where it attaches to.
It looks like you can still order those from the Honda dealer and they are even available for EG civics. I wonder where you need to place the nut. It is the same nut that you use to install the OEM front lip.
Do you have any better pictures of the installed part? Can't tell what part of the bumper you put the clip.
It looks like it was meant to just allow the bottom 2 holes of the license plate to screw into while the top of the plate is screwed into the existing holes in the top and center of the bumper, correct?

That's correct.
I can't get any better picture without taking of my plate and I'm a bit too lazy to do that (I don't have the bracket installed). Just look dead center in the grille of the bumper and you'll see the single point where the bolt goes.
Like I said earlier, I'm not sure how secure it will be, but if you don't want holes in your bumper it's one option. I like eghatch9295's use of zip ties as well. And maybe just for the bottom portion of your plate, if needed.
I understand. Thanks for the help man. I'm going to also order one of those $10 re-locator pieces so if anything I can drill two inconspicuous holes on the underside of the bumper.
