Default Replaced clutch, now pedal goes straight to the floor

I finished replacing the clutch on my 90 SI and when I got in to start it, the pedal went straight to the floor. I adjusted the cable pretty much all the way down and there is still nothing.

So, either its the cable, which is probably original, or its something else.

When i pull up on the clutch arm thing down where the cable attaches to the tranny, i can lift it up no problem. Is there something I could have missed that would make the clutch super light?

Thanks

If you changed out your release bearing while you had the trans off then you might have put the release spring on backwards. Had a buddy do that a long time ago and he experienced the same symptom.

Pretty sure thats what it is. I was hoping it was something that didn't require me to take the trans out again since I dont have anyone to help me get it back in.
