Accel internal super coil on a b series
I'm doing a full ignition tune up before i hit the dyno to tune these bc spec 3's
I want to freshen up the coil (100k miles on it) since i'm pretty much doing everything else. Plug,wires,cap,rotor...
Have any of you installed one of these Accel super coil on your all motor B series with success ? An upgrade over stock for half the price sounds like a no brainer to me. Accel claims 15% more energy over the stock tec unit.
The coil in question.
ACCEL Ignition Coil - SuperCoil - Sport Compact Honda - Acura with internal coil 1992-2000 - Part #: 11076

I've heard nothing but good things from the accel internal coil. My buddy ran 9's using this coil on his h22 turbo ek hatch with no spark issues.
Completely different. MSD only has external coils that have exam more spark capability by several thousand megajoules (mJ) over the Accel. The difference is for most setups the Accel does the job quite well over the OEM ICM. Plus, easier to setup and integrate
