My daughter has an 04 CR-V, which has periodically thrown misfire codes. I usually tell her to put in a bottle of Techron, and they tend to go away. But I'm not entirely sure about that, since she's not home most of the year.
Recently they seem to have gotten worse, and the CEL has flashed a couple of times. It's showing one active and one pending code for each of 0300, 0301, 0302, 0303, and 0304. And in the past it hasn't been a single cylinder consistently. (The plugs are fairly new and they all look good.)
My strong hunch is a fuel delivery issue, but I can't figure out where to hook up a pressure tester. Chilton and Haynes don't really tell me anything useful. Is there a threaded port somewhere?
There is a plastic connector on the fuel rail just before it goes under the rail cover, but it looks like it's a PITA to get to. Is that what I have to use? If so, is there a trick to using it?
Start with a stethoscope (or a long screwdriver) and listen to each injector. Press the metal tip against the injector housing and listen to the injectors https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GDJoKIoSd-w
This will tell you if the injectors are working, but not if they are flowing correctly. Fuel pressure on the K motors looks like you need to test from the fuel delivery feed line. This a random image I found googling:
