Start by adding car information and downloading the service manual.

You're not gonna have a problem if you over torque them. Its more important to put anti-seize on the bolt threads and tighten the control arms in the correct position. Lots of people tighten them with impact wrenches and no one cares. They're not oil drain bolts (don't use an impact on this), they're not head bolts where you need a torque wrench.

I disassembled my whole suspension over 10 times. Never torquing any nut. Anti seize is good insurance though.

That's not saying much considering that most of the suspension is bolts.

OP, there is a website that you can download the factory service manual for free. If you're driving a HONDA, HOOKUP yourself up with a copy.

Bro, I'm so new to working on cars that I just learned the difference between a nut and bolt 2 weeks ago. Thought nut was a fancy way of saying bolt for this whole year.

With that being said. I slipped up.

I torque and paint mark every nut and bolt I touch. Good piece of mind to know the bolts are at the proper spec and not damaged from over torquing. Makes future removal and re-installation that much easier.

I also replace all old hardware, call me crazy, but I don't trust that old rusty bolt that almost broke on its way out.
