Integra Tach and Interior Lights having problem, Halp please.
I just finished an engine swap and got a few small problems, was hoping honda tech could help me with them. 97 integra ls.
The dash and climate control light goes really dim when I turn on my headlights, to the degree where you hardly know they're on. However the clock doesn't dim at all. A lot of people say it's the alternator, but I did this with the engine off, could it still be the alternator? Fuses are fine.
Other problem I believe doesn't belong to this section but i Figured should ask anyway, the tachometer doesn't work. Car is 97 ls, engine is jdm B18C and ecu is chipped p28, everything else seems ok except for the tachometer, I switched to a P73 the tachometer still doesn't work. I'm about to get a new distributor and try but is there anything else I should check?
Thanks Honda Tech.

Fist issue us a dying or weak battery or might need to be recharged. Common when the car or battery has been sitting. If this accurs while the engine is on its most like a dying alternator.
Second issue is the tach signal from 5he dustributor. Make sure your engine harness plug for the distributor has the blue wire still connecting from the distributor plug. If the blue wire Is absent on the engine harness you will need to Tapp a wire in the empty spot on the engine harness side of the plug going to the distributor plug to the back of the cluster harness plug that plugs into the back of the cluster.
