How do I get radio code if radio not orig to car?
From what I read you have to have the VIN of the car the radio it from to get the radio code of the radio you have. I pulled two out of a junk yard car, I could go back, I know which one came out of which car, the other not so sure. Guess I could pull another and get the vin # also THIS TIME.
I am getting these for my brothers kid. She has no cassette in hers and the aux plug adapter he put on it quit.

I pulled a very good junkyard Acura radio, number for that radio was wrote on top in black marker kind of unusual/strange to find it that way

All the Acura dealer made ME do for a code, was to give them the serial numbers off a sticker on the back of the stereo. Honda dealer is probably the same I would think. Good luck.
Usually you can call up a dealer and ask for the parts counter and read them a serial number off the back of the radio
If they give you hell then hang up and try the next one
Shoot, I even had a dealer cut KEYS for me once from simply a VIN number without any type of proof of ownership

I just found out that this site..

you can put in your car vin number and any radio serial number (clearly from the radio you want to use) will work to get the code pulled. The radio does not have to be out of the orig car/vin# to get the code.
