Default Two problems: power mirrors and climate control lights

1993 Del Sol 1.6 vtec. I've tried searching the internet, it hasn't helped me. My power window switches all work. But the power mirrors don't function. I assumed it was the switch, bought a "working" one with window switches. That didn't solve it, the window part on the part I bought worked though. The wiring that I can see doesn't looked chopped up. No fuses are blown.

Now the climate control lights... I've taken this unit out about a dozen times. Tried 6 different sets of new and old bulbs. Nothing gets them to light. The orange/green squares will light up but not the bulbs. I bought #74 bulbs. Maybe the unit is bad? I haven't seen any posts about people replacing the bulbs and still having problems.

Whoever owned the car before put in sub wires and put some stupid light mods in to change the color of the head lights. Also air conditioning parts were taken out. Any idea if maybe those have anything to do with my problems? Everything else electronically works on my car with no issues.

There's a switch that you have to move left and right, have you tried that?

Check power to the mirror when you press on the adjustments?

Do I unplug the cable from the first mirror, put the positive lead on any pin/slot, and press the button around while the negative lead is touching the car? I've never really done voltage tests/continuity besides checking batteries

Had a similar issue on my 97 Civic coupe after having the driver door panel off. I think the wires running to the mirror that are behind that little triangle black cover for the mirror got pinched when I put it back on. Also noticed the climate control lights didn't work either after this as well. I corrected the wire placement and replaced the fuse that had blown for the climate control. Everything worked after the fix.

Similarly use a multimeter to test for voltage getting to the climate control bulb receptacles.
