i dont think jdm is junk, its expensive cause its not found here in the us and you gotta import it or buy it off someone who imported it, which costs money. http://www.wholesalehyperformance.com/ , http://www.jspecjdm.net/ , http://www.optauto.com/webstore/

http://www.recycler.com has the folding mirrors listed for 150.

"JDM is just another way for people to overcharge for other peoples junk"

JDM parts on the car now - 0
JDM parts going on the car - 1 APEXi AFC becuase it was made there.
do you have a Honda? is it a CRX? if so, then your car is "JDM".. it was made there...

i know it wasn't, but with this type of logic and if your car was made in japan, it would be JDM,would it not?

just saying...

as for cheap, b16a crx's go for as little as 1,000 bucks. the whole thing.. it's a grand country, isn't it folks? 600 hp skylines go for about 15,000. and 1972 datsun GTR's go for 70,000. and toyota 2000gts go for 150,000

as far as JDM stuff goes.. i like the way it looks, and i think it's clean. but i definately think it's overpriced. there are ways around it, but most of the time shipping and customs gets in the way which also seems to hike the price up.. JDM is turning out to be like "rice" was, it's getting out of hand. everyone is doing it so no one can be original anymore... i liked it better when rice was the norm and JDM was rare and hard to find.. like about 4-5 years ago....

I'm from illinois so the JDM craze hasn't hit big here, and it is hard as hell to get parts. Here rice is the norm (import, foreign and domestic) and JDM is still kinda rare.

yah it is kinda really overpriced here, i'll admit that. but i can agree with people selling it for higher prices here because jdm stuff dont come stock here. in japan, its already on the car, and they'll probably take out all that junk to put in aftermarket parts. yah, integras and acuras are cheap in japan, hondas and acuras over there are probably the last things they'd be thinking about to fix up because why would you wanna soup up a itr if you have a chance to get a skyline and silvia. even fricken silvias are cheap there.. yah does kinda suck that we dont get the cool stuff.
