Just bought a 2005 Civic Si.....the doors dont lock/unlock using the door switch, nor do they lock/unlock using the keyfob.....if i close both front doors and rear hatch and lock them using the key then i can activate the factory alarm using the keyfob and can also deactivate factory alarm using keyfob, but it will not lock/unlock the doors......when you try to lock/unlock the doors using the keyfob or the door switch, you can hear the door actuators act like they are working and can also hear the relay under the dash click.......anyone have any suggestions or run into similar problems? thanks

sounds like the actuator has gone bad.
Or you need to reset your remote.

 

It's most likely the actuators, if I were a betting man. I had to replace one of mine immediately when I bought it in May. Good luck - they're a royal PITA to get to.

 

thanks, yea I've already reprogrammed the remote, and im surprised that all 3 actuators would go bad.........
