92 honda accord engine wont turn over
I live in Florida and this morning was the first decently cold morning for here anyway. This early am I went to start the car. It cranked for a second literally and idle bottomed out and wouldn't start back up. It tries it cranks and can hear fan spinning just wont turn over. Im no mechanic but I can fix or figure out most if given a place to start. It is a manual if that makes a difference or not. Im wondering if it could be spark plugs, distributor, and or starter. But from what I've read if it were the starter it wouldn't try to crank or make any starting noise at all correct?

You need fuel and spark for the car to start if it is turning over. You can check the easy stuff first. Take a look at your distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wires, and spark plugs. I'm not sure if your Accord has the coil inside the distributor, but you can tell by looking at the distributor cap. If there is a fifth wire your coil is external. Replace anything that is obviously worn out. Check your plugs to see if you are getting a spark. Fuel is fairly easy to check. The first thing to check is your fuel filter. The owner's manual recommends changing them once a year, or more often if you put a lot of miles on the car. When you turn the key on without cranking the engine can you hear your fuel pump? If the answer is yes, borrow a fuel pressure gauge from an auto parts store and check your fuel rail pressure. There is more but this will get you started...
