Icon6 Lsd?

I did some searching and didn't really come up with an answer.

Will an lsd trans go on a '99 b20b engine, or other year b20b?

Any mods needed? ...or cable to hydraulic linkage?

Thanks!

Well, I"m thinking it really doesn't matter. I'm not going very high hp. My trans is good enough. I was hoping to stop or improve the torque-steer.

As long as it's a b-series transmission it'll bolt right up. doesn't matter if it has lsd or not

Thanks for the info. The most difficult thing I've found, deciding what to do with my car, is know what's compatible with what. Even searching here brings up so many pages, it's hard to go thru it all.

Going from obd0 to obd1 isn't a problem, the rest is not easy to determine. Even on many of jdm sites, they don't tell you much data on the engines and transmissions they sell....or even what year model they came from.

The sellers don't provide much information because the installer is supposed to know. Read the faqs use a lot of Google. It's mostly common knowledge...when i swapped my accord 16 years ago it was a lot harder.

Thanks!

That's the problem, even searching here. I'll find many posts, go into a post and there's a whole lot that doesn't refer to the post, or general google searches with 10,000 returns.

Also I'm looking for older data...obd0 and obd1. There's a newer data that is more recent, considering I have almost no experience with Acura/Honda.....so I ask. Most people won't answer because they think I should be able to find it searching. I've done a lot of searching on this site and others and open posts where 90% is off topic, and all acronyms that I don't know either.

I'm getting there, making some progress, but it's slow. I also work 240 hrs per month at something that also requires a lot of data searching from time to time.

I'm not giving up, but it'll be quite a while before I'm sure I'm getting the correct parts.

I spent 40 years working on air-cooled VWs and British motorcycles, and I just spent 4 years concentrating on a 45 year old sailboat. This is really my 1st time doing much of anything on a computer controlled vehicle of any sort. I've got a lot to learn.
