'96 Civic CX hatchback, bone stock with 175k miles

Now that I got that out of the way, is there any benefit to using Skunk2 or other aftermarket lower control arms if my car is strictly for daily driving? I'm on the fence on whether to drop some money on Skunk2 LCA's vs OEM if there is any benefit to them even for daily driving use.

OEM is of course cheaper when paired but if I can get some extra life out of the aftermarket ones that have firmer bushings, then I'm all for it. But if it's nothing but a waste of money, then I'll pass.

For daily driving use, are aftermarket lower control arms overkill?

I have a noise coming from the rear and I'm not sure if it is coming from the shocks itself or the lower control arm so before I would drop some money on it I want to make sure what options I have available in case it turns out to be the lower control arms
