1997 Honda accord ex
My car started making a noise like my brakes are releasing pressure. It does it when I'm driving or hitting the brakes. Along with that my abs light comes on and off. What is going on?

I took it to have the codes read but they said it won't read the code unless the light is on and it only comes on after I've drove it for over a mile but when I turn off the car it the light goes off
