Default Not sure about ect part number?

95 Accord Ex sedan VTEC won't kick in and the sensor on the front of the coolant neck is broken. It's a 24mm, among bad thermostat so I ordered them both but the ect I got is not 24mm... So I'm not so sure how to get the VTEC working I have no cel. The radiator fan kicks on fine and temp reading is correct. I feel the car is constantly in warm up mode high advance timing no VTEC rev limit 5k. Its weird how it idles low though but engine is still in high advance rich warm up mode without VTEC...

Thanks

Go to the junkyard and get the part.

That is not an ECT that is on the coolant neck. The sensor that is located on the water neck is for the rad fan.

The ECT sensor is located on the cylinder head under the distributor. It is the brass sensor with a 2 wire connector. The single wire sensor next to it is the temp sensor for the dash.

How do you know that it's in high advance warm up mode?

As I mentioned in your post about F22B1 VTEC kicking in..... it doesn't! So with that being said, what makes you think that your VTEC is not engaging? Do you have any way to monitor your engine, do you have access to a scan tool?
