Hey guys, so I'm possibly going to be buying a '99 CRV. I'm not really wanting to do much to it, but I'm just curious what is available on the aftermarket scene for them. I know that they are just starting to become popular in the Honda scene, so I can imagine there is not really a lot out. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!!

 

Could you be any more vague? Actually they used to be popular to modify about 10 years ago. They only recently regained support within the past year or maybe two. There is pretty much just as much as Civics if you look hard enough.

 

my boosted/slammed 1st gen was like 4 or 5 years ago, right in the middle of that hahaha.

99% of b series parts fit (headers dont on AWD models), you can mix match suspension parts, ect. be more specific on what you want to do.

 

I'm thinking more on the lines of suspension. I don't want to slam the vehicle because it is the 4wd model. Being that it is the 4wd model, how much more difficult does that make t to find parts? Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough, but I couldn't seem to find much that wasn't ebay stuff.

 

For suspension there are TONS of options: K-Sport, FortuneAuto, Yonaka, etc. The RT4WD makes zero difference in suspension. All of the parts are literally the same. The only difference between the RT4WD and 2WD is transfer case, propeller shaft, rear diff w/crossmember, and axles. The trailing arms are identical, the 2WD just uses stubs in place of the axles.
