Default ELD issue?

Hey guys so I have a 96 civic ex with a 96 ITR motor, I just recently replaced my alternator cause it went bad (battery light came on and tested bad). The alternator I installed was an OBD2 alternator, the one that was bad was an OBD1 ( I have both plugs in my harness). So after I replaced it it ran for like a week then died again so I got another new OBD1 alternator thinking the obd2 harness plug wasn't working. A couple weeks later it died again (yesterday). I got the car started and disconnected the battery and it shut off. (Battery is new btw) so that means the alternator is not charging. I need some help, and btw my speed sensor went bad the day before and my RPM needle wasn't working when I used other accessories in the car. (Again probably cause alternator isn't working) any ideas on this. I read my dizzy can be going bad making rpm needle not work but idk if that can cause my alternator to not work. I would really appreciate some help from you master Honda techs!

How exactly do you have OBD1 and OBD2 connectors in your wiring harness? Why exactly were you using an OBD1 alternator? What other wiring is hacked up that you haven't told us about?

I used an OBD1 cause that was what was originally on there and worked fine for a years until it went bad. And the only custom part on harness is the alternator plugs (not sure why)

So I checked my alternator fuse and its not blown (going to replace anyway. If that doesn't work I'm going to replace ELectronic load detector on fuse box under hood. The car barely starts and when I turn headlights on and flashers the lights dim and rpm needle falls
