I have a Japanese Domestic Motor (JDM) F22B from a 1993 Prelude in my 1991 Accord Wagon. I need a new cap and rotor. I tried to get the entire distributor assembly just to have all new sensors in the distributor...FORGET IT. I cannot find the genuine part anywhere. The Honda part number is 30100-P13-006. If anyone knows where I can obtain a complete distributor with cap and rotor, please let me know. Plan B is the cap and rotor only.

Which cap and rotor will swap out with an original F22B cap and rotor?

Any help appreciated...

 

H22a1 or h23a1

 

I tried an aftermarket distributor cap for an H22A1 or H23A1 (same part number) at a local auto parts store...and it did not fit. I went to my local Honda dealer, and they had the part sitting on the shelf in Dallas, TX. I ought to have it tomorrow. The picture looked exactly the same as mine. If it works the take away is you cannot always count on aftermarket parts especially for a JDM.

 

what code is stamped on the distributor? it should be on one of the tabs where teh bolts hold it to the head.

 

The code stamped on the distributor is TD-60U on the top then 3915 underneath

 

Then you could use the distributor from any 90-91 Accord with no problems

 

I found the correct cap on Amazon and ordered it yesterday. This thread is done unless the cap is wrong again...The part number for the cap was 30102-PT2-026.
