I decided to put a new distributor cap and rotor on my JDM H22....well as you probably know...it has the internal coil on the distributor. I went and i picked up a cap and rotor today at the dealership....the rotor went on perfect..no problems with that....but the distributor cap is way different since it was for the USDM models that have the external coil.

What my question is....where can I buy a new distributor cap for the JDM h22s....I know someone has ran into this problem before...any ideas?

Hey there:

Get a distributor cap off of a 1990-1991 Honda Accord. They are the same as the JDM H22a. The honda part number is: 30102-PT2-026

also the sohc vtec 1.6 ltre(d16z) dist. cap fits too.
