Default Front seat compatibility for 92-95 Honda Civic

Folks, I've looked & can't seem to find a summary of which Honda/Acura front seats will fit as is or require rail changes etc to my 93 Honda Civic DX sedan.

Would a 2000 Acura Integra's front seats bolt into my 93 DX? I want all 4 bolts to line up & make this as plug & play as possible. My front driver's side pivot bracket snapped now the seat upright is flopping around.

Also, am I overlooking anything else? Seat belt compatibility, seat belt wiring sensor etc?

Thank you Honda-Tech members!

2000 Integra will bolt right in, no mucking about. Plug and play, as you want it.

Thanks guys. Not a swap I wanted to do. I was perfectly satisfied w/existing DX seat. However I was rear ended-no damage to the bumper etc-yet surprisingly the drivers right side seat hinge (metal) snapped when I slammed backed into seat. I'm actually concerned about the safety & integrity of the seat/my back, if the accident had been even slightly more force. I just want to get back on the road & I think I can source a 2000 Acura Integra 2 door w/decent seats that just became available. Will the front buckets off a 2 door Teg bolt into a 4 door 93 DX? Should have asked originally...

Does anyone know if the Acura seats or others are better designed than the stock EG's to absorb the G's of a rear ender?

yeah, they fit. unless you're horrendously obese, your original seat was either very worn out (23 years old), rusted, or a combination of both.

I just came across a pair of Recaro Saturn Ion Redline seats. Anyone have a thought about fitament/procedure into the 93 Honda Civic DX sedan?

Again thank you in advance!

I'm original owner, 106k miles, garage kept & 174lbs. Interestingly I examined the hinge this am. I was welded to the seat back frame & broke along the weld-amazing giving the low speed of impact.

Anyone have any suggestions on fitting the Saturn Ion Redline Recaro seats into the 93 Civic DX sedan? I looked & couldn't find any threads on the topic.

It's not going to be a plug and play solution, you'll have to fab up seat rails.

'94 - '01 Integra front seats do however fit right in. I have a set in my '95 Civic right now. They're a little more comfortable than the Civic seats and they sit slightly lower so if you're tall you'll gain a little headroom.

I haven't seen anyone address this, so I'll just come out and say it. No. You're talking about cars from the early to mid 90's. They were pretty much all built to the same (comparatively low) specifications. If you're really worried about the safety of it, your best answer would be a quality fixed back seat. No eBay knockoff trash. A proper Recaro, with proper rails, and it'll bolt right in for you.
