Default 1998 civic d16y8 ect

Yes I know this particular sensor and code has been covered, however, that's not entirely my issue. So I am getting the p0118 code and I put in a brand new water temp sensor (head) and rad fan switch (thermostat housing). The cel came back on, also, I started the car with the rad cap off and it actually slowly built up pressure and the coolant started to rise out of the radiator. It is a mishimoto radiator.

After replacing both sensors, and get that both hoses do get hot, I'm lose.

Any help?

Thanks guys

Kyle

Did you replace the single wire sensor, or the two pin sensor under the distributor? One is for the cluster, the other is for the ECU. Replace the wrong one, and boom, problem unsolved.
