Hey guys.
Swapped a Jdm gsr in my Ef hatch with a p72.
I have a couple issues. When I turn my Key to the On pos. no lights come up on the dash except for the battery light( Had my 02 out so it should of thrown a code ). My fuel pump also does not stop priming, you can hear it just constantly running. So heres the thing, It wasn't revving up at all, I swapped in a p28 Ecu and it was able to rev up and running pretty good(VIDEO 1) but didn't have my 02 sensor wired in yet so figured that would fix the little bit of roughness it had. Wired up a 4 wire Bosch 02 sensor and now it completely runs like crap. (VIDEO 2). I have 2 videos of it running. First one is when I swapped the p72 for a chipped p28 and had no 02 wired up, 2nd is after I wired up the 02 and as you can tell sounds like crap. Kinda lost with the whole thing so if anyone has anything to chime in that would be greatly appreciated!

What program/map is the chipped Ecu running and did you double check all the connections are correct for your O2 splice in?

 

your post is pretty confusing. How many different ecus have you tried and what are the symptoms with each...

 

Im not sure what the program/map is, I bought the ecu here locally with it already chipped.
Yes, I double checked 02 connections.
d14 signal- to the white wire on the O2
A26 ground- To the grey on the O2
a6 heater- to white on the 02
a25(heater)- to the white on the O2

 

Sorry I fixed it. Both videos of it running are with the p28.
Ive tried 2 ecus. a p72 and the p28.

p72- wouldn't rev up, constant fuel pump running, no dash lights.

(1st Vid) p28- Revs up now, Still constant running fuel pump, no dash lights.

(2nd vid) p28 w/ O2 sensor- wont rev up, still constant fuel pump, no dash lights.

 

sounds like you have some sort of wiring harness issues since the problems are about the same for both ecus.

 

Are you sure your car does not have a aftermarket fuel pump and the fuel pressure is 2 high

 

i havent touched the fuel pump. it was fine with the d in there.
What does it mean when im not getting no lights on my dash other than my battery? what would cause that?
and what are some causes of the fuel pump to keep priming.

 

If only the battery light is coming on, is it possible your engine harness is not properly connected?

 

Honestly check your alt. Voltage regulator could b shot and throwing 2 much or 2 little power
