I'm new here and did try to do a search, but could not find the info I needed.
I'm very familiar with Toyotas and know that the Denso brand of aftermarket A/C compressor is the best mix of quality and price for that make. I don't assume, however, that this also is the case for Hondas.


I need to replace the A/C compressor on a family member's 2005 Honda Accord V6. I want to get a new (not rebuilt) compressor and want to ask all of you who know Hondas what brand I should get. Denso does offer the A/C compressor model #471-1537 for this car. I can get it on Amazon for around $200. Is this the best aftermarket brand for this Honda in question? What do you think?

I'd stick with the Denso compressor and call it a day.

Denso as well. I tried a Four Seasons and it last a year and 1 month. Right outside of the warranty period. I replaced it with a Denso and couldn't be happier.
