Default Climate Control Problem

I have a 1996 Civic Hatchback CX... I was wondering if the climate controls from a 99-00 Si/SiR would be 100% interchangable with mine. The thing that concerns me is the heat adjustment on the 99-00 is that **** thing vs the manual slider on the 96. Is this just a straight swap? Thanks for any information.

More trouble than it's worth IMO. The 96-98 is manual (cable wire runs to a valve that sits in the engine bay) vs the 99-00 which is electronic (servos). So to use the 99-00 controls you have to get the full 99-00 climate control "system." i really don't have much experiance in the conversion, but i know its not worth it unless you are really bored.
