Icon4 Rywire buget B series

So I tried Google and searching the HT forum, and all that comes out is for sale, willing to buy OR pics on another car. Youtube has a bunch of useless videos of someone extremely excited who just got their product in and how they open their box up and THATS IT!!! Anyone whose installed on a Honda del sol that know what they are doing or have a write up thread saved I would really appreciate some help.

I was really hoping someone with a similar set up had experience installing, last I knew this is Honda-tech, a place where if I have questions on how to put gas in my car, someone with knowledge or similar questions get together to try and figure it out... Sad I have to go back to 8thcivic and have someone ask his buddies instead of telling me to go ask somewhere else...

Because they are the company who freaking makes it, they should know the best. If they won't respond to you send it back and go with a company that can.

Yeah thats not why I tried reaching out to the community. I contacted Rywire before asking here, because I wanted to know FROM someone who has installed or helped out on what they did to the sub harnesses after splicing. For example, if they cut and threw the old out or solved and tucked under the dash.... Something like that, do you have any experience with this harness?

So, I finally found someone who WAS WILLING TO HELP, you can cut the rest of your sub harness out, after you splice the new one in (you use a handful off the old). Unless you plan on swapping your old engine back in, you just tuck everything under your dash.

I did just purchase this harness and am having some problems. I tried them and still waiting. I have no spark or fuel. They have no instructions to help. Is there any body that can help. I need to get this car running. And no back up lights. but turns over no problem. This car ran fine before.

After talking to david @ Ry wire we worked out the rookie mistakes on my part. Have all the things working now, but it will still not fire. Getting close though.

I'm in the process of installing one of these on my CRX, turned out to be a way bigger job than expected, mainly because I want everything tucked away and my car being RHD made their sub harness too short.

I am literally outside installing, the dude that helped me didn't mention having any problems, other than cleaning on the inside of the cabin. i talked to someone at rewire as well and emphasized on how important it is to splice the correct wires and hook up the shock tower and properly ground.

So the splicing was super easy, it was the cleaning up (gutting out the old harness) that a pain in the ***. So ill need to re-wire a hand full of wires back together. For future reference, i suggest taking your time and undo your harness slowly taking out what you don't need!!!
