Hey whats going on guys... my 2010 lately has been using a lot of oil recently.. does anyone know or recommend options to help minimize the oil consumption? Having to put an average of a quart per 1000 miles... car only has 110,000 on it... any info would be greatly appreciated

 

What kind of oil do you use? Try using high mileage oil, if you're not already. I used Castrol GTX High Mileage on my 00 GSR with 200K miles, and it burned maybe a quart every 3k miles.

 

Do you have any oil leaking around the head area? Could be your head
gasket also potentially.
