Default 92 Accord Window Pin thingy - ~PIC~

What is this part? It rides the track all the way up and down and goes through the window. The end "cap" broke so the window pops out. I'm not seeing it in the diagrams I'm finding online. I'd say 23, 24, 25, 26 assembly but they don't really look like this. I ordered 04730-SM2-A00 based on some research from this board but it's not correct.

Please help!
Thanks,
Mike

That would be the correct parts for a 2dr,
73341-SM2-A01 023 002 BRACKET, PIN GUIDE
73342-SS0-010 024 002 BOLT, PIN GUIDE
73344-SM2-A00 025 002 SEAL A, PIN GUIDE
73345-SM2-A00 026 002 SEAL B, PIN GUIDE

24 is what is broken with seal 26 falling off, behind the window is seal 25 between the guide and glass of 23 which is still in the track.

It's not correct in what it looks like, or it does not fit?

'94-'97 cars use the same parts according to Majestic Honda, if the 'CD' chassis parts superseded the 'CB' parts they may not look the same but should work the same.

Can you take a picture of your kit 04730-SM2-A00?

The post part is angled off the flat part. The part on my car is not like that. Also, the black "cap" in the pic here is rubber and pops on over the post - also the post is too big for the hole in the window.

Additionally, I noticed the part that broke off actually screws out. If I can't find the actual part I might be able to jimmy up some sort of screw/washer combo to work...Would like to get the right parts though! Lastly, look at the part on my car...it's a rounded triangle like shape...the parts in the exploded view all look round round.

Thanks for the reply.

Unless there is a regional difference, that 'Honda' bag looks ancient. Is the part number on the bag the same as the attached tag(which has the correct P#)? Was the bag unopened when you received it?

It could also be a screwup by a supplier, what if you ordered the parts individually?

73341-SM2-A01
73342-SS0-010
73344-SM2-A00
73345-SM2-A00

It'll be ~$4 more but at least you would know if the parts are correct.

I had some goofiness when ordering timing belt covers for my Accord. Similar looking part but not correct, luckily another part I had ordered came with the part I needed(assembly) and just returned the unneeded part at the counter.

Did you order parts just by part number or by VIN?
Possibly a mid year change in production. Local parts dept around here will allow returns if the VIN was used but not if you show up with just a part number.

Nah I just ordered online (Honda Parts Unlimited | Genuine OEM Honda Parts & Accessories) via part#.

The bag was unopened - there was no tag - just the part# printed on the bag...in 2 spots actually - both the same #. Definitely weird. I will try contacting them though to see what I can do.

Thanks,
Mike

If there is a local, competent, Honda parts dept maybe you can speak with the parts guy or a tech. Might get an 'Oh yea, you need to order XYZ to get the right part.'

Hey, I can't find the piece anymore. The whole thing is either broken or lost. Does anyone know where I can still find it, or does anyone have a 3D model to print? I'm desperate.
