Default CEL 16 while driving

Quick symptoms:

Car was driving fine, went to give it some gas and it bogged really bad and a ton of 'smoke' came out the exhaust (fuel from my experience, sure smelled the part). Car ran really rough and 'smoked' after that. I parked it a couple blocks later. Car threw a CEL 16, injector circuit. It is OBD1 B16A in a 89 Civic and it DOES have a resister box. I'll go over my injector wiring. Maybe one of the soldering points came loose. Any other ideas?

Check all the injector clips if you haven't already. Maybe take all the injectors out and inspect them too. And yes, definitely recheck all wiring.

Also Ohm test the injectors.
