Default The right socket for clutch pressure plate

Hello guys,

I was trying to take off the clutch pressure plate. The bolts around are 12 point instead of regular hex. I have a stanley 10mm socket that is design for hex bolt. It has female 12 point pattern. Looks like it fits quite well. I just want to make sure it is the right tool for the job. Or do I need to buy some special tool?

A 12 point 10mm socket should be fine.

Same with the flywheel bolts when you get to it. Whatever sized 12pt that fits is correct. Nothing special.

I believe the flywheel/crank bolts are 17mm though.

12pt 3/8 are the only craftsmen tools I own, all because of these bolts.
