Default Help with an exhaust build

Hey guys, I plan on boosting my ls teggy later on down the road. I've read up that since the engine is a 1.8 I may use a 2.5" exhaust and have no issues.

Here's what I plan on buying:

MagnaFlow 51204
Kteller 2.5" Stainless piping + 14" Stainless Resonator
and a Magnaflow 2.5" Center Inlet / 2.5" Center Outlet 4" Oval Muffler

Please be open to tell me not to buy these parts or what to change. I wanna do what's right off the bat and not waste time and money.

Thank you!

Everyone will jump to say 3'' if you're using FI, but if you're just planning on a mild under 300whp you'll be fine with what you have there. I've always loved k-teller back when I did my builds got to chose where the resonator went and what one I wanted, went with a single "burns" in the middle and the rest with just straight pipe vband too.

Who said I'm planning on staying under 300hp

When I get my turbo kit later on ima change my pistons and all that so i can hit about 350hp

Then just select the 3'' simple as that, no reason to buy twice and pay for welding again.

3" is so hard to fit, and make quiet.

I just went through the trials of putting a quiet muffler on my ITR with a 3" exhaust. Still working on it...but 2.5" would have made this much easier.
