Default RHD conversion question

So I just picked up a RHD clip 2300 with front end and pretty much everything it also came from an automatic EF2 also has power steering. Would it be easier to hook up the power steering to my 89 STD hatch and also any ideas on how I should redo the wiring for the auto to manual? Anything that would make this conversion easier would be a big help?

Now can I just modify my LHD for RHD use?

i don't think so, i believe that that the rhd assembly has the pedals angled differently

They are angled differently. They definitely are not the same. It feels like they are closer together as well.

Pretty much how I see it is, the rhd version is a lhd version retrofitted to be rhd. The space is the same for the left and right for both cars. In the lhd version the driver has more space, in the rhd the passenger has more space. Because of this the pedals are completely difference between the two.

You don't need to, look up converting a ps rack to manual (Power Steering delete). Pretty sure you just fill it with fluid and loop the hose.

1) you can loop the power steering. mines been looped for 3 years now without an issue.
2) you can convert to manual just as you would if you were LHD, plenty of write ups.
3) you cannot use LHD pedals on rhd, the clutch and gas pedal angles differently. (mine was an auto clip and i sourced the sedan manual pedals on ebay for $170)
4) if its not auto aircon, you could use your full harness thats in your car now and flip it to run on the rhd conversion. (again, mine is flipped and its been 3 years without an issue)

Found a manual rack from Germany, have RHD pedal assembly already sourced from Japan, it does have auto aircon.

Your biggest problem is not the auto to manual or even the power steering. Your biggest problem will be wiring since the EF2 is carbureted (not to be confused with DPFI). The dash wiring is different from the EF3 and EF9
