1999 Honda Accord LX cutting off while driving
Hello all,
I have a 1999 Accord LX that sometimes cuts off while I'm driving. I have changed out the ignition switch and basic tune up. Does anyone have any ideas what else I should try?
Thanks
Madipor

Often it's the ignition switch. You can test it by starting the car, wiggling the key in the switch, and it cuts off.
That seems to be the most common scenario.
Another common thing is for the engine grounds to either get loose or go missing, or get rusted and cause issue. There's one near the front of the car, over by the motor mount or transmission that seems to get broken or missing often enough.
Of course, there's always a distributor going bad or harnesses that are loose in some manner.

Tried it last night and it certainly acts per ETCG's video so have a switch on order now. For whatever reason, my 99 Accord isn't covered under the switch recall they did for this gen.
