Default Change in compression. Ecuador compensate?

Bought a gsr and the crank is roached. It's easier for me to find an ls rotating assembly than a gsr. If I did ls crank and rods with p30 pistons it would be me around 11.5:1 compression. Would an obd2 Ecu compensate for that much of a jump or would I need a retune. Really not looking forward to converting to obd1 and getting a tune. It is what it is I guess. Otherwise I'll just play the waiting game on a gsr crank and rods. Or is there some other oem style piston I could run without having to notch anything and lower the compression closed to stock? Can a mod change thread title. Remove Ecuador and replace with ecu.
