Default power control modules? which is better?

i have a 91' accord lx, i've got custom exhaust including header, cold air intake and i want more. i've been unsuccessful in finding an upgraded ecu so i've decided to get either the JET V-Force power control module or the Venom 400 power control module. my question is which is better?

He means they're junk, and a waste of money.

Don't bother. If you want to maximize your mods, get a real engine management system... either the AEM AMS ($$$$$$$), the Hondata, Electromotive TEC3, or something similar...

ppl always think chips just plug and play....
oh..i can buy 20 hp from this chip or 10 from this one
but you really dont know where and when the power will
shown.
VAFC is more like a lil computer that allow adjustment
of air and fuel to make the most out of each unique vehicle's power
band. is more complex and req. dyno to find out but is 10time better.
and of course V AFC allow you to mess around with vtec engagement point(sorta)
and for non-vtec or non-honda SAFC will do the the next best thing.

Just get an Apexi' V-AFC and get it dyno tuned. You will have to have your car tuned on a dyno though. Those chips and plug-in module things suck. I don't think you need anything as advanced as an EMS or Hondata. Get a V-AFC and you will be happier. Even though you don't have VTEC on your Accord, I would still get a VAFC because someday you may want to carry it over to a car that does have vtec. If you want to save a few bucks though, just get a S-AFC without the VTEC controller.
