Tuning
Im confused. People here search desperately for performance in their car but they arent willing to take out what it takes to use the power that they already have. Ive read multiple posts of people who put in thousands of dollars worth of parts increasing the cars power by 50 hp, but meanwhile they add in heavy speakers and tons of extra junk. Why dont people gut out their interiors, take out the AC compressor and use the power they have? Climate control= useless, Stereo=useless, back seats=useless, power windows=useless and interior=useless. All of that junk adds alot of weight and draws more power some people accept. But i suppose people would rather spend $600 on a cheap nos kit and tune up nothing else to compromise and feel hardly any power increase.

Re: Tuning (mk2machine)
Nobody here spends "thousands of dollars" to gain 50hp.
Everything you said is COMMON KNOWLEDGE.
Why doesn't everybody run around w/ no radio, nos speakers, no climate control, no interior, no power windows, etc.?
Because the cars are also daily drivers.
You can easily add way over 50whp w/ a shot of nitrous - depending on how much you're willing to pop the block for.

Re: Tuning (Syndacate)
maybe some people want a climate control for heat and ac needs, or maybe they need the backseats for their children, or they dont want to hear all the road noises from the gutted interior. Not everyone has a daily driver and a race car..most people use their car to drive it almost everyday
