Damn, a good buff and wax will really make an old car look a lot better. I spent some time on my Accord this morning. Still has 13 years worth of deep scratches, but buffing and carnauba paste wax makes it look good from ten feet. And it's smooth as a baby butt.

 

Post a pic! I take a huge amount of pride in keeping my car as clean and tidy as possible, it really makes a difference.

I pulled a fender at the junkyard that had some sun fade to put on my car since mine is dented; 10 minutes with an orbital did wonders. I gave it to my friend who details on the side, he defied the laws of physics or something, because it looks and feels better than new. It looks TOO good now, I hung it in the garage until spring when he car do the rest of the car.
