Wreckers 1- simers 0
Okay, purchased a d16y7 from P/G auto in my town, suppose to only have 135,000 klm's on it. Installed, ready to run, engine is hydro-locked, removed the plugs, hit the key, and it's pumping coolant out of 1,2, and #3 cylinder. I guess my next move { after calling the supplier} would be to pull the head, do you people think I should have the head checked, and replace the head gasket, or pull the engine again, and receive another engine to install...fml....simers
There's a device called a telephone (invented in 1876), use that to call the company you bought it from and ask them how you should proceed. If, it were me.. I wouldn't do any additional work on it until I know I am either getting a refund, a replacement or one of their jobbers to fix the **** engine they sold me. Unless, you are not telling the whole story and F'd up the engine somehow.
Go on ahead and put that motor in the back of your car and take it right back where you got it from. Me personally, I'd demand my money back, and purchase another engine from somebody reputable.
But go..... Like now.
Edit: You didnt even call first?

I think my statement was more in question form. If you perceive that I am calling you a liar I apologize for the confusion.
