eg is different from ek. they tell what yr part came from. maybe where you live the yr/make/model doesn't exist so if someone states to use the civic si/em1 rear t bracket than another alternative would be to look for the EK9 civic type r rear t bracket.

And this is just another reason why calling them all EGs and EKs is ******* retarded. A 98 with a Y8 is an EJ8.

I'm actually one step behind you LOL

A 98 with a Y8 is a 98 with a Y8 to me.

You don't need an "EK T bracket". You need a 99-00 EM1 T bracket. Done. Problem solved. Easy to find online, and cheap from the dealership.

Oh right, I forgot something. It is possible to use the eg6 rear t bracket. All you need to do is swap the subframe with the rack and pinion.

It can't be that much to ship an EM1 T bracket. It will save you time and a headache it sounds like.

I take that back....the eg6 is jdm, from japan. So its RHD. If your EJ8 not RHD than it won't work. Damn....

He's just trying to use whats available to him right now. It truthfully isn't hard to find EK9 parts. Plenty of people breaking ek9 parts in europe.
