Default eg gsr swap dies while driving.

Hey guys i need some help with this annoying issue that i am having. My car would start up great drive perfect. It would randomly die. It takes about 5 min to get it back running. Its been 1 month since this has been happening and im scared to drive it. Been stuck in traffic. I've done some test. It has spark and fuel. New dizzy. New spark plugs. Wires. Etc. The other day i had the car at idle waiting for it to die. It dies sometimes on idle. When it finally did. I try cranking it still wont start. So i decided to mess around and unplug some wires and re plug them. I unplugged the iacv and repluged it. Went back to start it and it work! So i got a new iacv. Drove it the next day and it dies in the middle of the road. Poped my hood and unplug and replug the iacv started right up. So i just made a switch for the iacv routing it to the cabin if it happens again i can just keep flipping the switch. Help. Lol thanks

Unplugging the iacv is just a coincidence unless maybe its getting stuck open.

Maybe unbolt the iacv and check the inside to see if its stuck open

When it dies and doesnt start you need to check for

Air
Fuel
Spark
Compression
Timing

You might be moving the wire harness as your messing with the iacv and its moving another wire making an intermittent connection

Also post a pic of the engine bay. If its all hacked up and pieced together then thatll explain some problems

ive done compression, leakdown, spark, timing. im thinking a glitch in the s300...... drove it yesterday and did the same thing...... this time it had a hard time starting even when I keep flipping the switch.

Yeah that iacv thing is a coincidence. Put that back together

Did a good tuner street tune it or you yourself?

Open loop or closed loop?

Full tune or only wot

What are the comp numbers on all four?

Compression is around 190-200 between there. Im not sure about the tuning.. i know him through friends but hes good. And he is. And i dono what open or close loop is. I dono nothing about tuning. Thinking of selling it. Kinda sad when u work at the dealership and fix other peoples cars. But u cant even fix urs. Lol

Dont throw in the towel just yet

Connect a laptop to the s300 and do some data logging

Ride around and when it happens look over all your sensors and check all your readings
