Icon5 can someone answer this for me ??

I have a 00 integra RS auto unfortunantley, looking to get a catback and maybe some headers and spark plugs i already have a air intake. So im wondering if i can chip my obd2 auto integra? Ik i have to get a wire harness to convert but which ecu should i use? And is it worth it? Thanks..

Cause they got bit by the jdm bug!

let the mods start lol

Theres a guy here with a turbo charged his Auto integra if that gives you hope. But i admit its a clean setup and hes no noob either. deff not something for the average joe to accomplish.

OP sounds like you should of got a 5sp..

Best if you stick with bolt ons for now if you want to modify it but it really will make no diffrence as far as performance it will sound louder thats for sure but actually gain anything substantial as far as tq and hp not really unless you get a good tune and have a 5 spd.

RS models didn't exist in 2000 if I remember correctly. What you need to do is do a full tune up, fluid's flush, fix broken/cracked bushings, possibly new struts.

Can't chip an obd2b ecu, well you can but its expensive, the tune has to be right the first time because the chip being used can only be written to once. Pain in the *** either way.

You realize any threads regarding that are from pre 06 and that's like the guys who still use VAFC/missing link etc.

A chipped ecu is meant to drive your car to a tuner, not go joy riding everywhere. Also moding a non-vtec auto is dumb asF even if you buy cheap **** you're just getting laughed at by anyone who knows the slightest thing about cars.
