Im thinking of buying an automatic 4 dr integra. My question are they worthy modifying engine wise. I know people have turbocharged their automatics but are they worth it or am I better off waiting for a 5spd. Thanks.

 

I made the mistake of getting a auto, swapping in a b20 and the trans just went out 3 monthes later.. Just wait for a nice gsr 5 speed.

 

if you plan on putting a level 10 trans in, yes, stroker/supercharger is my next modification on my auto dd

 

i would just get a 5 speed so u dont got to wast time and money on swaping it over auto are good for a dd not to hook up

 

A conversion is quite expensive, so if you want a five speed you should just wait for one. The auto can't handle much torque for long, but to me that seems like fine print relative to the fact that it means you'll be driving an AT Integra around. An auto LS might as well be a Camry IMO.

 

everyone has good points. Ill just wait for a 5spd integra its just that they are hard to find.
