Drivers side window HELP!
I have a 98 Honda civic.. Hit 104,000 miles recently after a road trip from IL to TX
Anyways..
My driver side power window used to be slow going up. I go on vacation come back and my window is acting weird. The window rolls up and down like normal. EXCEPT once I get closer to the top, it makes an awful noise and the window bounces. It won't go all the way up, or stay up. It rolls back down about half an inch.
Like I said, it goes down, comes up, but won't stay all the way up! I'm afraid it's eventually just going to drop.
What is it? And where can I get the part
Took off the door panel and there's a thing with teeth that look kind of worn. But I need a part name and/or possible diagnosis!
Thanks you guys!

Same thing happened to me, gotta open up the door panel and see if the window has popped out of its rails, if it has just have to pop it back in.
On mine for some reason the rail itself has a lot of play which caused the window to fall out frequently, so for the right side rail I had to pop a new hole in the frame and use a new area to hold the rail in place.

It's happened to Civic owners a time or two:

Once you get it back on track (in the seal channel) lube all moving parts and rubber seal with Napa Sil-Glide: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...351_0361142439
