CV joints / axels / shafts / whatever
ok, this is one reason I really am hating on FWD cars ... why do my cv axels always end up going bad on every car I have ever had?
it seems like it isn't so bad spending $200-400 on them! but it's a joke
if they go out every 6 months that's some money I could really use... could there be some type of problem is this is happening? nothing can **** me off more than cv w/e they want to call them

I hate axles........ I paid the cash for Raxles, and snapped them both clean about two months later. I'll just stick with my 79.99 lifetime replacement autozone bitches...
I think my X-mas present to myself is gonna be some DSS.com stage 1's. What do you guys think about those? I have SiR axles, so autozone is not an option. I've heard nothing but bad things about raxles.
Hmmm....I have had my raxles for over a year and they have been fine. The only problem was I snapped a cv boot band on one and I just had to repack it with grease and slip on a new band. The axles have over 25 passes at the track on drag radials and I have not had a single problem with them. Breaking axles can also be caused by the type of clutch you are using. Puck clutches are much harder on the drivetrain than a full faced disc. Just my thoughts. If you are breaking axles left and right just get the lifetime warranty axles from the local pep boys, autozone, etc.
