1992 integra taillights dont work.
Check to see if you have the right bulbs? The taillight bulbs are dual filament there is a possibility they could be burned out. Does your 3rd brake light come on when you step on the brakes? Have you messed with them?
ive checked all the bulbs there the correct ones. My back window light seems like its taking all the power because its on really bright but the tail lights aren't. And the wires are all messed up from the guy I bought it from.
Sorry to here that they are messed up. I would start trying to fix them. Have you checked the fuses to make sure they are not burnt out and the correct amps?
Ive tired to re wire them. But it seems like it don't do anything. Ive checked all the fuses and there good. But my left tail light the left bulb goes really bright and stays bright even when I step on the brake. Ive been looking for the harness with the bulbs but cant find it.
If you don't mind me asking how did you try rewiring them? Have you considered running new wires from the back of the fuse box (to the respectable fuse) to the tail lights? Essentially semi creating a new harness. Might be a real PITA, but worth it in the end.
I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to wiring or anything with electricity. So I just got wire from a junk car and tried to run it to the bulbsockets from where the guy had cut the wires before. At first they were working fine. I had fixed the right tail light brake light, because before it didn't work. The all of a sudden the just stopped working. But I noticed that my back window light would go on and off when I wasn't even stepping on the brake. So idk what to do. My dad has a 90 integra ls and I want to ask him for his wiring but that's his daily driver.

Ah, sounds like a loose or bad connection. Then try to find an uncut harness or have someone make one for you. I would be careful you don't short something out.
Probably not relevant to your situation, but FWIW at one time I would randomly blow tail light fuses. Turns out when someone in the past had installed a radio, there was a cut wire in that area that was wedged just perfectly so that the cut end was resting flat against the metal dash plate inner. Being a straight cut and not stripped, it would only occasionally short out. I could see something like that just barely touching, and being enough to dim lights but not blow fuses.
Simple rule for any wiring problems: Look for where someone's had there hands in there in the past, as factory work usually holds up well. Fixed at least 4 or 5 tail light problems on trucks/suvs years ago before factory installed trailer harnesses were popular, when people would install them and create problems with poor connections/shorts.

Definitely worth looking into. Probably at least half of the wiring problems out there are due to non-factory wiring, or someone having their hands in there in the past.
Sounds like maybe some one had that wire from the fuse to give power to maybe say the light bulbs.. aka ghetto rigged..
You need to post pics cause its hard to imagine whats going on from just your brief explanation.
Thats odd.. does it look like that wire was connected to any of the light bulb wires or even the harness for the tail lights? what do you mean that wire is touching the metal, what metal?

Its from the radio fuse which leads all the way to the trunk. Which I think is for an amp for subwoofers. And its touching the metal under the carpet. And I'm just saying if that would bother anything. I'm not trying to sound like an idiot but how do I post pics on here it doesn't let me from my phone.
Make a account with photobucket.com its free. Then down load all your pics and organize them there. click a pic then on the bottom click the share icon and then click the links icon and then copy the IMG (for forums, boards) and paiste it in your post.
Not sure how to resolve your problem but I have a 98 acura integra and dash light is out.
Can I connect the red wire (dimmer) and attach to ground to get illumination?
Fuses and switch test OK.

No! never ghetto rig something! ive seen integras catch fire from that exact reason! I mean why would want to do that instead of fixing it correctly. even at its lowest setting the dimer still gives light to the cluster so if its not lit up the dimmer is not your problem.
Its most likey your fuse thats gone out!
Cluttering and thread jacking some ones thread is not OK. And i just contributed to it a little just now.
