Having troubles with my car, if anybody can help me out! I have to keep my foot on gas pedal to keep my car on and start. wont start unless I give it gas. Rarely when it idles on its own its really low.

No it doesn't start on it own. I have to stay on the gas pedal for it.

 

What year is your integra? Ive had similar problems with my 92. Took out my ecu fuse for 15 mins. But maybe your fuel filter. Is no good.

 

2000. Lsvtec. I recently just replaced my fuel filter. And ok I'll give that a shot with the ecu.

 

I have a 92 integra maybe it should work the same

Was it starting fine before the new fuel filter?

Check to see if the ECT sensor under the distributor is pluged in the harness. It could be dissconnected or bad causising the ECU to not know what fuel to give from not knowing the engines temp.

Also look at you IACV, it could be dirty and needs to be cleaned theres a how to in the FAQ for that. Also check to see if its pluged in.

Did you even do the things i mentioned or tested the sensor or cleaned the IACV?

You have literally stated you have a 2000 LSVTEC! what the hell is that?? what mods do you have? what ecu are you using? do you check the ecu for codes?

Nobodys gonna magicaly give you the solution to your problem!

You basically have not even done any research on this issue otherwise you more than likely would of figured it out because this is such a common issue its impossible you diddnt come by any info on this.

Did you check the TPS if its within specs?

Try another IACV.

Is the ecu tuned for the engine or is the ecu settup for the injectors your using?

 

Have not, and I'll do that thanks for the help tho. Tune with engine.
