Accord ex vtec f22b1 or 2??
If you have a factory USDM 94-97 Accord if it has VTEC it is the B1 engine. Valve covers of VTEC engines usually have 'VTEC' cast into the cover.
Valve covers are NOT interchangeable, so a B2 cannot have a B1 valve cover.

Pretty simple.
Look at the water outlet that is facing the radiator(not the thermostat housing), now look under it.
On the engine block there will be a raised embossed casting. It will be F23A#. If the block is heavily corroded you may need some scotch brite pad clean/clear it to read the casting.
Google image it if you are still unsure.
