So i failed inspection, and it was because of no rear right exhaust heat shield, this part seems to not exist from acura integra diagrams or in the haynes manual. apparently there is a heat shield right before the muffler? Is this true.....my inspectio. Statio seems to believe so.

 

the last shield is at the front corner portion of the gas tank BEFORE the lower arm...what car is this even DC/DA cause my description if for a DC.

 

97 DC4 so there is nothing past the curving heat shield correct? I am custom fitting one and rigging some stuff up because this old fat pos seems to fail me for no apparent reason, also i failed because my brakes were were squealing lol.

 

yah that's the last one, go somewhere else even if you live in a small town of 17K like me I have at least 6 options.

 

Sadly i am not allowed to. Maryland state inspection states the same person at the same station has to reinspect until it passes. So i may need to call a friend of mine to get this resolved because this guy is making some stuff up....thanks for clearing this up.

Bring a copy of the diagram to the inspection station, after you fix your brake issue, and have it re-inspected.
