Default Please tell me if this is normal?

I just bought a 2015 Accord Sedan EX-L V6 w/o Navi. It is a beautiful car and I love it very much. However, I did have one question. I noticed that when you let off the gas and let the car coast, right at about 20-25 mph you feel the car pull back, start to slow itself down, then downshift, and coast right at about 10 mph. The car does not seem to just coast along the entire time and gradually lose speed. I read this may be an automatic braking type feature but I was not sure... I came from driving a 2001 Accord EX v6 and these cars very different. Love them both though.

Thanks.

Mine is the 6 speed auto V6. I thought the CVTs were just in the 4 Cyl?

I have the same exact model, and mine does that also. It's the transmission downshifting to slow the car down. I like it as it saves on using the brakes to slow the car down as you are approaching a traffic light or a vehicle moving slower than you. The only way it will coast is if you put it in neutral.
